Kalimantan Island

Did you know what is the world’s third largest island? That is Kalimantan Island. This island belongs to three countries and two-third of the island is belonging to the Government of the Republic of Indonesia. It shares boundaries with the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam and the Malaysian states of Sarawak and Sabah. Kalimantan or Borneo most notably knows as land of the Dayaks or land of a thousand rivers, vibrant with colorful and distinctive traditional arts and cultures which can be seen in the people way of life, art, dance, music, ancestral dress, games and ceremony.
